Ann Curry
Ann Curry was born in the United States and is an American photographer and journalist. Since more than 45 years, she has concentrated her work on reporting human suffering, especially in natural disasters and wars. Curry was a reporter in war zones like Kosovo Iraq Syria Lebanon Palestine Afghanistan Darfur Congo. Ann Curry (born on November 19th, 1956 in Agana) was an American TV anchor, reporter and journalist. She was most famous as a correspondent on the Today Show, a daily morning news program that was broadcast by National Broadcasting Co. Curry's work was noted because of her coverage of human crisis that occurred in war-torn countries and natural disasters. Curry's Japanese-American mother as well as her U.S. Navy-sailor dad were both prominent figures in her life. Curry met her mother when she was living alongside the father of her parents in Japan after World War II. Due to her father's military duty, the family travelled often. Curry finished highschool within Ashland Oregon. Curry graduated in 1978, with a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Oregon. She is likely to have developed an empathetic communication style due to her exposure to diverse cultures in her early years. Ann Curry has been a famous American journalist since the early 1990s. Curry attended various schools which included San Diego Alameda Oregon Virginia as well as Virginia. Ashland was where she eventually graduated from the high school. She began a career that could lead to a successful career as an intern in broadcasting for KTVL Channel 10 Medford. She was the first female news reporter at the station, at age 22. In Portland the state of Oregon, she was made an anchor and reporter by KGW the NBC affiliate. After that, she moved into Los Angeles four years later to work as a reporter for KCBS TV. In the course of her six-year relationship with KCBS, she was awarded the two Emmy Awards.
